Rustic Casual Dining

Developed by renowned restaurateur and founder of the original haute dining destination, Beppe de Vito, Cafeteria il Lido features a menu of hearty sandwiches, soups, meat and pasta dishes.
“While il Lido’s chic fine-dining concept and spectacular views make it the ideal place to celebrate special occasions and share intimate meals, I wanted Cafeteria il Lido to be homely and rustic. A place you can pop by anytime of the day for a filling breakfast, lunch or dinner,” said de Vito, who was inspired by the local trattorias he visited frequently back in Italy.

In line with the family-style, warm setting and casual atmosphere, most of the dishes offered at the outlet, located at the basement of Suntec City Mall’s fountain area, are reasonably priced at $20 and under.
These are all basic staples in Italian cuisine,” explained de Vito, “and to encourage customers to think of Cafeteria il Lido as an eatery they can return again and again for their daily meals, we try to keep the prices as affordable as possible without compromising the quality of the food or freshness of the ingredients.”
Plans for Cafeteria il Lido were made as early as a year ago, as an extension to the highly popular fine-dining restaurant, “We needed the time to look around for a suitable location and it took a while before we found a place that was centralized and accessible to the masses.”

Who we are?

Beppe De Vito, Managing Director, is a well-known personality on Singapore’s food and beverage scene. Graduating from one of Italy’s top schools of Hospitality has gained him operational and mangement experience at some of the most reputable establishments in France, Italy, Spain, the US and Asia. Within Asia, he has 15 years‘ experience helming the best restauants and bars in Hong Kong and Singapore.
